This communications channel is the only way that I've been able to get information about a downed server during this extreme situation. I am very relieved to understand the nature of the issue and status of repair efforts. My server has been unavailable for over 12 hours and that is highly abnormal for a VPS at this datacenter. My support ticket was not getting replied to and my customer was getting uncomfortable. Chat gets my vote as a keeper and I will use it more frequently. (I am responsible for 6 VPS servers)

Yes, Ryan handled the issue very quickly, but he closed the chat before I could ask a couple questions about the fix he made. We have had this fixed before but it broke again in a couple fo days, and I wanted to ask whether the change he made would be broken again by hackers making unsuccessful attempts to login to the server. I assume the answer is yes, but I wanted to validate that. He said our (my) repeated attempts to unsuccessfully login caused the issues. I AM VERY CAREFUL ABOUT LOGGING IN to make sure I am not the reason for issues like this. I am sure it was NOT me.
My IP address was on the blacklist, I was never asked about my IP address till now
Answered to questions I asked, was nice and pointed me in the right direction
Tech answered my questions and us redoing the server to do what I needed it too.

Although I had to wait almost 3 hours to get support, once it arrived Penny G was able to quickly correct most of the issues to where we are again able to have our production scripts finish successfully.
Agent worked to correct the issue quickly, however there was a long delay before the chat was picked up by an agent. I assume the staff was quite busy, but almost 40 minutes is a pretty long gap when a companies production server is down.
I use the VPS service of Database Mart site, there was a problem and within 2 hours my problem was solved. I am very satisfied with the service I received, I recommend it to everyone :)
